I've watched almost 2 seasons of this show and have noticed that these nannies typically don't institute consequences into the families. There have been a few but nothing like Supernanny. Almost every episode I watch, I'm thinking, "that kid needs a timeout" or "that kid needs to lose a privilege." Has anyone else noticed this?

I agree. This show is fun to watch but there is really nothing useful as far as discipline and techniques go. Every time I see a family that is really, truly in need of help I think to myself, "they needed to call Supernanny instead."
