Which episode did you think was more emotional?

I found episode 6 very sad. I couldn't help but tear because of Taeko's misfortune and how she gets amnesia. I felt that her father was a rotten man, yet sad. The third episode was pretty sad too, how Harumi lives a double life and then things go out of control. Tell me your opinions on some of the episodes in this series. :-)

The last episode when Ikari's wife bids him farewell.

Episode 6, that was really *beep* up.

Episode eleven.
It's not sad, it's emotional. That thing charged my blood right up. I love Misae, how she is the only character in the whole series who is in touch with reality and manages to defeat L'il Slugger all by herself.

episode 3,6,happy family planning, and the one where they're making the show for that little dog(forgot his name)

no one knows what they are or were they've come from.

Episode 11 is great, it has the touch of a hopeless situation-

The last episode when Ikari's wife bids him farewell.
I agree, that was very powerful, especially when Ikari couldn't decide to let go of "his world" or not. He finally realizes it's all a sham and smashes down all the 2-dimensional people & buildings, remembering how he told his wife they would "always face reality together" no matter how bad things got...that really got to me.

Same. The whole story of Ikari and Misae is really emotional. The scene where Ikari is confronted by Miase in the bar in his fantasy realm and when he sees the illusion for what it is always makes me well up with joy, sadness, power and hope. All at once.

Also Taeko's situation is unforgivably tragic, especially so after seeing what a happy child she was and how much she loved her father. Shattering stuff.

I found episode 3 disturbing, especially at the end. It was well done. (The whole show is well done.) Episode 6 was also very disturbing, but it was sad how she gets amnesia. Episode 11 was very powerful and emotional.

On a phyisical level, Taeko's story, but on an existential level, Harumi's. There's a chance that she is not actually the original personality, and Maria was right all along. Especially since in the end, you see Maria come back, and it's implied that this time it is for good and Harumi no longer exists.
The last 3 episodes were incredibly emotional, though. Bringing me much closer to tears.
