The subtitles ... aargh.


Watching the movie, I was infuriated to see that the subtitles were sloppy. The person who did the subtitles should have bore in mind to keep the audience perfectly aware of what is being said, as the movie is in 3 languages. I think subtitles should be done precisely as the essence would be lost if it's not done so. A movie tells a story, and it is essential that every minor thing is translated into precise subtitles. I shudder to think how a non-Malaysian would digest the movie, as the subtitles are sloppy and just leaves you clueless in some parts.

Malaysian subtitles are famous for it's inaccuracy. Like John Tucker Must Die, it was some ridiculous "John TUcker yand pandan muka mesti mati" or something like that.
