Missed Opportunity

How awesome would it have been to see Johto the way we got see Kanto in Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal? It would be set three years before it appeared in Pokemon Gold, with the improved graphics of Generation III, and from the perspective of someone visiting it for the first time after completing the Kanto League. Then, after collecting all 16 badges and completing the Pokedex, we get offered the chance to explore Mt. Silver...

Anyone else think this would have been good?
