I used to have the greatest squad out there, i never lost a battle in my life with this team...
Golem (Rock/Ground)
-Rollout, Double Edge, Explosion, Earthquake-
Porygon2 (Normal)
-Conversion2, Psycic, Thunderbolt, Triattack-
Scizor(Metal/Bug)-
-Slash, Metal Claw, Fury Cutter, Swords Dance-
Blaziken (Fire/Fighting)
-Blaze Kick, Sky Uppercut, Slash, Double Team-
Kingdra (Dragon/Water)
-Hydropump, Blizzard, Dragonbreath, Swords Dance-
Umbreon (Dark)
-Confuse Ray, Toxic, Headbutt, Moonlight-
I'm not 100% that the moves i put are right but i think they are for the most part, there is not a pokemon alive this team doesn't have a weakness for, and if there is, Umbreon can mess em up good.
I've always hated using legendaries because EVERYONE uses them, and its sad, especially when alot of pokemon are better than legendaries.
Golem, Scizor, and Blaziken were my Powerhouses and Umbreon, Porygon2, and Kingdra were my tactics team.
One time i beat the elite four + Gary with just Golem, he was my favorite.
but once i outgrew this game i traded all of them to my younger cousin.
Well I started the game again the day before yesterday, and my current squad looks like this:

Primeape - Level 30 - Mega Punch, Seismic Toss, Dig, Rock Slide
Wartortle - Level 33 - Rapid Spin, Bite, Secret Power, Water Gun
Fearow - Level 30 - Fly, Pursuit, Aerial Ace, Fury Attack
Nidorina - Level 30 - Cut, Bite, Water Pulse, Double Kick
Hypno - Level 33 - Poison Gas, Hypnosis, Headbutt, Confusion
