This sounds good.

A new Weerewolf flick.Yay!I love werewolf movies.

reply

yea i really want to see this....i'm just wondering does anyone die in it?

reply

Well, I assume so. Nobody dying in a werewolf movie would be a novelty I believe... well, if you don't include the comedy types such as Teen Wolf and Full Moon High.

Btw, also take a look at 'Big Bad Wolf', another promising looking werewolf flick.

reply

its ok.. no classic and its werewolf looks more like a giant Boar..also like a muppet

it cost 1 million quid and the version i saw had some terrible cgi

but some of the acting is good

reply

...Don't get your hopes up. I'm sorry you've even heard of it.

I seriously do support independent Scottish movie talent - there are so many independent filmmakers out there who aren't getting the proper chance to show their talent in the mainstream because they haven't got an established name attached to their project...

"Wild Country" is just cringe worthy. I'd hate for people to think this is the best low-budget Scottish filmmaking has to offer.

Check out http://www.makethejourney.co.uk/links.htm for good independent talent.

You can slate this film for any reason you like but it got made and that is a feat in itself. I was involved in the making of this film and I can say it was a very enjoyable experience, I learned loads and almost everyone I know that worked on it has gone on to prosper in film. If you write a gritty kitchen sink script, you will doubtlessley get funding to make it in Scotland. The money for this horror film was privately funded and whatever is said about it, at least we had a go. It is very easy to talk about making amazing films. It's another thing altogether to get one made. There was this crazy New Zealander once thought he could make an adaptation for cinema of Lord of the Rings. Crazy talk.
