Comedy Gold!

Is it just me, or is this film clearly a clasic work of comedic genius?

The filmmakers of Wild Country should be applauded. Clearly their excellent use of awful dialogue, dreadful acting, terrible special effects and a plot that is so thin and full of holes you could drive a bus through it is all entirely intentional and done to create one of the the most hilarious cinematic experiences of all time.

Certainly the entire audience thought so when I went, they were literally rolling in the aisles. Brilliant.

Unless of course it wasn't a joke. But surely no one could unintentionally make a film that bad, could they? Except maybe Uwe Boll.

Definitely comedic moments throughout. The "wolf boar cow pig thing beast" was hilarious. They should have kept it in the dark.

"Wolf side-cam" was my favourite joke.

The werewolves walking off into the sunset at the end had to be one of the funniest awful things I've ever seen in a werewolf movie.

The mask of a girl is always a killer

the were badgers were wicked, although if you ran into one you would just want to give it a bit of sandwich, they looked quite friendly.

and the priest who encourages giving away children and sleeps with strangers, top stuff.

i think the comedy aspect was on purpose because the acting was alright, it was shot pretty well, although some light during the woods running bits would have helped.

its a hell of lot better than another low budget thing i saw last night, 'gnaw' now that was unwatchably bad.
