Kreia, Sion, Nihilus, Atris and others.....

Replaying this game reminded me of just how fuzzy this plot can be. I realize a lot of material was cut, but some parts of it are just plain sloppy.

I need theories and personal opinions of what you think happened.

There's a lot of characters in this who the creators just plain made up out of the blue and did not exist in the previous game. Particularly some of the Sith and Jedi.

What/where the hell were they (in your opinion as it's quite obvious they didn't even exist until the sequel) during the events of the Mandalorian and Jedi/Sith Wars?

Kreia, Sion, Atris, and other council members in the exile's past.

reply

I think Atris and the council members were jedi who did'nt want to get involved in the mandalorian wars,or at least not the way Revan did.

Kreia might have been one of Revans instructors, maybe even manipulated him down the dark path.

As for Sion, i imagine he was a Jedi who fought in the mandalorion wars and was training at malachor during the Jedi/Sith war (why is it the pyscopathic bad guys always sound Scottish)

i'm sure there's a ton of more interesting theories than mine out there.

I think them not getting involved in the Mandalorian war is pretty ovbious as by their huge objection of those who did go. I'm talking about the council at least. So I think you're right there.

But what about Kreia, Sion and Nihilus? Is it fair to assume they fought in the Mandalorian War then during the Civil war studied on Malachor V?

And what about the council in the Civil War? Atris? I'm assuming they were fighting somewhere no?

Sion's accent is more Australian than Scottish. Kreia says that she was once in charge of training Revan, that she liked him, and that you (the Exile) are very different.

I always thought it was Scottish because it sounds similar to the central region accent, without any the slang of course. considering how many Scots got shipped off to Australia by the English maybe there could be some similarity in accent (never been to Australia,so i can't say for sure)

Well, we know Vrook was on Dantooine during the Jedi Civil War. I imagine Kavar, Vash, and Zez-Kai Ell (whew what a name) were on Coruscant or possibly working with the Republic while fighting the Sith. I believe Zez mentioned something about him leaving the order after he lost a Padawan to the Darkside, but it's not clear (if this is true I guess Zez was elsewhere during the later days of the Jedi Civil war).
Atris was probably with the other council members... I would assume so, at least. She's kind of complicated...
I never bothered much with dwelling upon Sion or Nihilus, to be honest... I suppose during the Jedi Civil war they were training with Kreia, while during Mandalorian Wars... who knows. Probably fallen Jedi in some way...

Kreia's even more of a mystery. Kavar makes the claim that he thought she had died during Mandalorian Wars (on Malachor I believe) in which case, she obviously fought at that time... I believe she was just hanging out at the Trayus Academy during the Jedi Civil war...

Watch out for those tempo changes man!

How does it not bother you? THey just up and created those characters out of the blue with little to no explanation or rational.

Yeah I'm pretty much with you here. She (and Sion and Nihilus) HAVE to have fought in the Mandalorian wars.

But as far as the Jedi Civil War goes, it's kinda weak. Because at no time during part 1 was there ever any indication there were Sith who didn't follow Malak.

Then we find out in the sequel there's whole factions that don't follow Malak? Yeah ok. I mean I can accept it, but it's a stretch.

It bothers me, definitely, I just can't come up with any ideas about their origins...
I wish Obsidian would just release what they had planned on their characters, since I doubt much will be revealed if/when KOTOR 3 is made since both are dead...

Gotcha. Fair enough.

See I have to make something up because it bugs me. So to me all 3 of them fought in the Mandalorian War.

Then while on Malachor discovered Trayus Academy and fell to the Dark Side (but not with Revan) and studied there during the Jedi Civil War.
