Did anybody actually think this went anywhere?

I love horror films and 'The Grudge' with Sarah Michelle Gellar was a good un so when I noticed that she was in this one I thought, may be good......BUT my friend and I just sat and watched it AND I felt, alright story line but it DID NOT go anywhere, it was like it was just about to get going and then nope it fizzled and then again it starts to get going and again it fizzled.

This film could have been SO MUCH BETTER!

Well i thought it was a good movie too, then i must be stupid in your eyes.
I liked the story i thought it had a good twist, i liked the flashback scenes like on the road and in that red bar. I liked the naturalness of the setting, it was freaky but very peaceful.

Sarah Michelle Gellar gave a great performance as Joanna, it was just right, natural and not OTT. Her role was the most important thing in the story and i liked the chemistry she had with her father in that kitchen scene.
