Listen, that is not irony, I suggest you consult your dictionary. Irony is the OPPOSITE of what is expected, and in this case, who was expecting that this poster's post would be literary accurate? A lesson to you on attacking someone's grammar.
Furthermore, the purpose of communication at best is to get one's point across. If the person can understand you, that is all that matters when it comes to comments on a message board.
A good analogy would be to ask if you ever use any slang or make a mistake when just having a typical conversation with a friend. Of course you do and of course you have. Why? Because, as I said, the point of communication in that tense is the act of communicating thought and idea.
So, since art was on topic, if this poster were trying to display some form of literary art with their post (which obviously they were not), then you would have every right to critique their grammar. However, considering it was simply a comment about a movie, then maybe you shouldn't have so foolishly presented your lack of the understanding of irony while attacking someone on their grammar.
Without the first sentence and your petty attempt at attacking the intellect of someone you don't know, your comment would have held up fine. Keep it simple and stick to the message.
*Must be hard to enjoy movies up on that high horse. Why not dismount & join me on the couch?*
