Worst Movie Ever Period.

I went to the mall and when me and my friend were done we wanted to see a movie and i say Borat is in theater's and we get there and there isn't another showing for 1 hour 1/2 so we see the poster for the return and buy tickets to see it and I never even heard of it so we watch it and I would of walked out but I fell asleep on how horrible this movie I have never seen a worse movie 100% serious maybe because I only watch movie's that look good or i'm lucky not to see terrible movies but this is Absolutely with out a doubt the worst movie ever sorry if you disagree but yeah I mean the trailers were better.

Are you serious? I LOVED this movie! Maybe you fell asleep DURING the movie!!!

>>>but later in your little rant you said youve seen trailers...so which part is true? <<<

The original poster said that the trailers were better than the actual movie. Maybe they saw the trailers *after* seeing the movie...?

"The original poster said that the trailers were better than the actual movie. Maybe they saw the trailers *after* seeing the movie...?"

They were probably talking about the trailers for OTHER movies shown in a movie theater before the movie. Read the original post again.

reply

"wait...at first you said you've never heard of the movie, but later in your little rant you said youve seen trailers...so which part is true?"

I think they meant the trailers for other movies shown before the movie in most theaters. Don't be so quick to assume that someone is lying.

reply

It's kind of hard to tell what he's trying to say, seeing as the entire post is a grammar-lacking run-on sentence. But whatever. I thought the movie was okay, by the way.

No it isn't okay movie. It is boring all the way through, and makes no sense to what is going on, and even at the end it still makes no sense to what is going on in the movie. These movies suck. Sorry, but these kind of movies are poorly made and should be just for those who love boring movies. There should be a genre called "Boring". There is a lot of them, and it isn't just in the horror genre either.

If it don't have it, it isn't worth the watch.

"If u were smart you would have seen the art behind this movie."

That's ironic, coming from someone who uses "u" instead of "you". Honestly now, how does this film involve any "art" whatsoever? The whole film is easy to understand with a pace to it that even a snail could outdo. If you want "art" check out The Cremaster Cycle, there's a series which actually takes some thought proccess.

reply

Listen, that is not irony, I suggest you consult your dictionary. Irony is the OPPOSITE of what is expected, and in this case, who was expecting that this poster's post would be literary accurate? A lesson to you on attacking someone's grammar.

Furthermore, the purpose of communication at best is to get one's point across. If the person can understand you, that is all that matters when it comes to comments on a message board.

A good analogy would be to ask if you ever use any slang or make a mistake when just having a typical conversation with a friend. Of course you do and of course you have. Why? Because, as I said, the point of communication in that tense is the act of communicating thought and idea.

So, since art was on topic, if this poster were trying to display some form of literary art with their post (which obviously they were not), then you would have every right to critique their grammar. However, considering it was simply a comment about a movie, then maybe you shouldn't have so foolishly presented your lack of the understanding of irony while attacking someone on their grammar.

Without the first sentence and your petty attempt at attacking the intellect of someone you don't know, your comment would have held up fine. Keep it simple and stick to the message.

This movie is indeed a loser - it's tedious
and boring with a poor soundtrack. The only
artistic thing I saw in it was the editing...

A good movie needs more than art - it needs
a compelling story to move it along and make
it interesting to the viewer.

THE RETURN fails to do this, so....

perhaps its tedious and boring to you because you are enamored of brightly colored pieces of string, which you can give rapt attention to and then put down and mess around with your playdo. But, this is a movie and you have to actually watch a story and characters develop and may even have to use some sort of cognitive abilities along the way, so i can see you not having the patience for that.

This movie sucks, i guess it depends on what types of movie your interested in, but for me, it did SUCK BADLY

reply

The movie would have been all right, if the first half wasn't full of "what the hell's going on?" moments, and if the second half wasn't so goddamn predictable.

On the plus side, the cinematography (did I spell that right?) was pretty cool.

IMO Crybaby is the worst movie ever made. But this one is close. I do get what happened and it wasn't developed. I saw the end going "wow, I really could care less." Girl goes to the town, sees random visions of the past. These things are tied to something that happened to another random lady. That's it. It's not like it was her mother or anything remotely thought provoking. There is a LOT of random occurances and statements that don't mean anything. And when it's all tied together at the end, it is predictable and boring. I NEVER post things like this, this is how bad I thought it was.

If you did like it, I would honestly be curious as to why? Compared to more thought out movies? Someone mentioned they really like the director's work. That's what I disliked the most about this thing. It felt like watching random footage of unrelated crap. There was no deep meaning to anything. While watching this movie we decided that we too should be able to make a movie, since someone gave the greenlight on this mess.

>this is Absolutely with out a doubt the worst movie ever<

Sorry, but I have to disagree. Watch Turistas and then get back to me.

reply

Yeah, this was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I watched the whole thing, and I've never seen a worse movie. The script and the dialogue were terrible! I'm suprised Sarah Michelle Gellar did this film. I thought she was a smarter girl, and chose her films more wisely. Guess not, lol.

reply

Going into this movie, I knew it wasn't a thriller but more of a suspense. Or at least it was supposed to be. Wondering what underwear I'll wear for the day gives me more suspense then this movie. It's along the lines of "Birth" with Nicole Kidman: good concept, extremely poorly executed.

reply

Yeh with you on that Bj25, this was a bad and boring film, was waiting for it to really get going but it never did, remember saying to my wife wen it ended "that was awful" she agreed!

reply

I agree about the art in it, it was a beautiful movie to watch, and it was not horror, which was good, it was a good return to old cool suspense movies, they should make more movies like this

reply

I can't believe there are people who actually like this piece of crap, but hey whatever.

reply

Seriously, guys. Come on. Watch "The Canyons" and tell me the THIS movie is OMG WTF THE TOTALLY WORSTEST EVER MOVIE LIEK TOTALLY EVAR!!!!1111!!1ELEBENDY!!

Really, this movie wasn't a masterpiece by any stretch. It was not well-thought-out, poorly written and kind of boring. But you really need to get out more if it was the worst movie you have ever seen.

I suggest that the next time this happens you wait the 1-1/2 hours for the movie you really want to see, and during that wait you study your English homework.

reply

This movie is SSSSLLLLOOOOOWWWWWW don't waste your money on this one. It's one of those movies I like to call 80-5 movies, 80 minutes of filler and 5 minutes of plot.

Dis movie was so like cool and stuff. I really liked it. I really liked the part were she was driving.

reply

I agree. My fiance and I rented a couple of movies and wanted something scary. Well, this movie took forever to get to the point and by the time it did, we were so confused as to what was going on. Save your money, do not rent. Wish someone would have warned us.
