Could have been a great show

This film/tv pilot had great potential as a television series. The movie by itself is just OK, but if they would have been given the opputunity to expand on some of the storylines thoughout a full television season, it could have gone on to become a stand-out show. The showtime execs should have at least greenlit it for a mini-series. Alas, they didn't, so we'll never know.
