resonance

while not exact, there are some parallels to my life: both gogol and i lost our fathers to heart attacks, though i was not yet 20. both my father and ashoke spent most of their adult lives in the us. my mother was not an immagrant as gogol's was. my father was from a different part of the world: bolivia compared to india. yet i found some resonance.
