Lara Flynn Boyle flashes her bush?

Early in the movie when Maximilian II is sitting in his office, right before he goes to the toilet, Lara Flynn Boyle is standing in front of him in a revealing half-dress. The camera pans up her body and it appears as though her bush is exposed poking out from under her skirt. Did I see that correctly? Was that really hers, or was it some sort of prosthetic? Also what was the significance of that?
