Hitman 5 will be fuc.. ed up?

Am I the only one fan from stealth and stealth related games that is afraid that Hitman 5 screws the series up just like ubisoft did with the amazing Splinter Cell seires bringing the horrible shoot'em up "Conviction"?

They take away Splinter Cell, what is left?

In part Assassin Creed, in part, I hope assassin creed 3 won't become "conviction" but ubisoft...

So the last really stealth game is Hitman.. what do you think, but really think about it, if they named a shoot'em up that has some character that look like Sam Fisher "Splinter Cell", won't be possible that they put a suited it up bold guy with some guns like max payne and called "hitman 5"?

By the way, don't troll, I love max payne, and conviction is a good game, but both of them are shoot'em ups not stealth games.

It is just like with RE4, great game, but NOT a resident evil game.

Please IO don't *beep* Hitman 5!

is hitman 5 even coming up and i dont think they will change the gameplay, probably be inspired from AC2 where he might blend in with the crowd.

The only thing i'm not liking so far about Hitman Absolution is the fact David Bateson and Jesper Kyd aren't a part of it. Kinda bums me out. But I do like some of the new things you can do. Use common items like cords and statues or whatever as weapons and being able to crawl all over the place to avoid enemies.

You know that my deepest fears has became true.
It seems that now has a "tag and kill" the same *beep* that Conviction (that game that say to be a Splinter Cell), and it is more action oriented :(.

HOWEVER, it has an "extreme" mode that all stealth.

But it is weird, why did the game would need this mode if still stealh? (The answer is because it is not more!).

Sad. :(

How the hell did they stuff up stealth with conviction? There were probably about 3 missions in that game without stealth, YET, stealth characteristics could have been used in those missions.

Conviction was far and away the best SC game I played!

Are you serious?

So probably, COD, and Max Payne (amazing games) may be called to have "stealth", so they ARE stealth.

Conviction is not a Stealth game.
It may be a good game, not a SC game.

By the way, everyone, check last trailers and interview with directors of Hitman!, in fact I was right!, they add Tag and Kill!!!, hahaha.

They moving away from stealth.

Running around all guns blazing in Splinter Cell will get you killed. Stealth is needed to get around.

Tag & Kill is rewarded to a player for SILENT takedowns (Stealth). And... it is YOUR CHOICE weather or not you use it!

But really did you play from the first to the last (conviction) and you say is the best SC?

reply

Honestly yes, in terms of graphics, sound and gameplay, I could not get over how awesome SCC was. It was so modernised. I agree there is little stealth in the SOME stages, especially Iraq, but the game is mainly stealth based.

I kind of wouldn't mind the series ending at Blood Money. That was a high note indeed. Can't do much better than that.

The only thing i'm not liking so far about Hitman Absolution is the fact David Bateson and Jesper Kyd aren't a part of it. Kinda bums me out.
Ok now i really wish they stopped at Blood Money.

My name is a killing word.

Well, you can blame the critics for it. A lot the things we liked about the game the critics hated. It's true. The games have never done well critically.
