Is this movie one of the all-time under-the-radar greats?

I love this film because it reveals the under-handed fascism, paranoia, and hypocrisy that's gone on in this country since the end of WWII. Meanwhile, the bread-and-circus crowd keeps cranking out mindless and meaningless cartoon character movies with heroes flying through the skies.

But this film just came and went in the blink of an eye.
