Closed Captioned? Subtitled?

I am a subscriber at Netflix and Netflix mentioned nothing about the movie, Dark Remains, being closed captioned or subtitled. I wonder if anyone knows?

Thank you in advance,

Meg

I just rented it from Netflix and I'm watching it now. No subtitles but great surround sound effects.

So far the movies pretty effed up.

Thanks for letting me know it's not subtitled. Could you check for closed captioning? (you use the TV's decoder)

I'm deaf myself and it's bugging me that three times (in two weeks) I got movies that was said to be CC or subtitled ended up to be un-deaf-friendly.

reply

Sorry, gempid. No CC, no subtitles.

I use subititles too, and one thing I have learned is that High Fliers films (of which this is one even though it advertised as Anchor Bay) never, ever have subititles.

I would love to know why this is the case. Are High Fliers such a low-budget company that they can't afford the costs of transcribing the titles?

Anyway, my tip is, always have a look if a film is High Fliers (they tend to mainly do low budget horror like this), and if it is, it won't be subtitled or CC'd.

Good question, FluxusX.

Thanks for the tip on High Fliers/Anchor Bay - Will keep an eye out. :)
