Honest question about Paris

I realize the odds are not good so no need to point that out but if Paris actually acted well in a movie would people give her credit? Is her reputation so bad that she is incapable of good reviews, ever?

I just wonder how much of someone's reputation plays into a critic (or viewer's) opinion.

Here's the opposite side - Every see a movie with a great actor who does a horrible job? You will always hear people talk about how great he/she did.

You get the idea.

When I comment about her acting in this film, I am really commenting on her acting, nothing more nothing less. I didn't care what live she leads in real life, nor do I give a hoot to her persona.

I am just saying that this isn't her best acting. Perhaps, this is her worst. I believe her acting in 'The Hottie and Nottie' is much better than the crap she put up in this film.

Haha. The reputation thing is very true. Denzel Washington is basically the same character in every movie and he's considered a great actor.

That said, I highly doubt anyone would ever give Paris any respect if she actually was good. However, she definitely has a ways to go to reach that point.
