Why only 6.9?

I just started watching this show, got th reference from another show, Psych. So far, I really enjoy it.
I dont understand why it only get 6.9 rating. Is it getting bad in the next seasons?

We don't know what you like or how far you are into the show. Who cares about the rating? You say you really enjoy it, so keep watching it.

I have no enemies, but am intensely disliked by my friends.

Who knows why any of the ratings on IMDB are what they are. It could be any number of reasons: Not enough explosions, too many explosions, too much math, people don't like substituting "3" for "E" in the title, someone doesn't like one of the actors, voters are just upset the day they voted.

Since it is an "open anonymous vote," I don't pay much attention to that numb3r. Just as the person above noted, if you like the show, go right on liking and watching the show. :o)

"Who knows why any of the ratings on IMDB are what they are."

My observation is that action movies and shows tend to rate about a point above their merit, and quieter shows maybe a point below their merit.

Since Numb3rs is half a cop show, it's going to get poorer ratings because its cops don't fit into the super-cool or bad-ass expectation which most other cop shows promote. Don Epps is more like a professional cop than a hero leader, and pro cop work is boring and stressful rather than glamorous and magic-bullet-dodging.

now, I'm in the third season and defnitely hooked with the show. in fact I spent all weekend finishing 3/4 of the second season.

I still don't understand why on earth this show get 6.9, meanwhile worse show like scorpion got 7.5. at least this show should get 7-8 rating.
