I would sign but i`m only 14 sorry but they better make it air

reply

Why? More info, please.

You need to read the other posts on this show. It has been cancelled and CBS has no plans to air it. EVER. It involved people who have severe nightmares/phobias about certain things and the show allowed them to re-enact these fears in a face to face confrontation. The host was Robert Englund without the makeup. It is a really cool idea, but, unfortunatly, CBS doesn't think it is cool enough. Is that the information you wanted?

Yeah, I can understand that. But if it was YOU who was dealing with your fear, I bet you'd feel differently.

Different strokes for different folks. I found Robert Englund to be quite encouraging. He was genuinely interested in my fear, possibly because it was so ridiculous. Depends on what way you look at it....some people would jump at the chance to share an experience as intense as facing adversity in your fear. Others would rather not let it out. Like I said, different strokes for different folks.

what a moron! whe have wars, genocide, poorness in this world and you people have nothing else to care for.

reply

Good lord, are you seriously suggesting that we should only take an interest in wars, genocide and poorness, and not pursue any personal interests or goals that aren't to benefit those less fortunate than ourselves?

That is one of the most pathetically self-righteous statements i've heard recently, what the hell are you even doing using the internet to look at this website??? You selfish SOAB, wasting your time reading about movies whilst Ethiopians go unfed??!! (Thats me being sarcastic by the way.)

I like to think i can take an interest in helping those less fortunate AND pursuing my personal interests, thats what makes me a well rounded individual and not a boring do-gooder.

They filmed this show a year ago, I know. It is not gonna air, they don't want it....reason it bothers me is cause I was on the show and will never see my episode. It stinks.

reply

Even though the show has been filmed a year ago...it still has a chance... lots of people love stuff like this and would really love to see it.. I'm one of them... but i have to admit... i am kind of dissapointed its not about freddy and just him...like the movies, and i think that its wonderful that you were on the show... but if no one sees it...no one will care!

I agree this show still has a chance, but i don't think Robert Englund thinks so according to interview at www.phillyburbs.com/freddy/nightmares. After reading the interview, I pretty much gave up hope it would ever air. Maybe CBS will air it on their sister network or make it available on DVD or internet. I hope so because I really want to see my episode, it really blew me away, literally.

I signed it

For my money, it doesn't get any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman".

reply

Sigh

Stop joking...

reply

Hey fordonotfear, what was your fear / phobia about anyways? And since we will never see the episode, how did they allow you to overcome it?

Revenge is a dish best served cold. It is very cold...in space. Star Trek II

reply

Hey, General. I had a classic phobia, fear of heights. (I wasn't the only contestant with that fear, though). They sent me to a place I thought I would never step, in the open way up high. It sucked....I was traumatized, but glad I did it. Proved to myself it was possible. But, rats....
