Arhta - Arthur

I caught this cartoon a few days ago and the animation style was very cool - similar to XIII (thirteen) and JetSet Radio XBOX Games.

One thing I caught onto straight away was the Character Names.

Artha
Lance
Moordryd

These are all from King Arthur Legends.

What made it a cert for me is the end credits.

Artha Penn - Arthurs name was Arthur PennDragon, and Moordryd was his son (Lance being, Lancelot)

Originally thought this was a futuristic version, just seems the crators werent original in the names they chose. Good cartoon tho.

Mordred was Arthur Pendragon's nephew in a lot of versions, not his son - though I've heard both.

Mordred was actually his son AND his nephew, as in most of the versions of the myth Mordred is the son of Arthur and his half-sister, the sorceress Morgana. The Arthurian nomenclature was what drew me to this series as well. Artha Penn, Arthur Pendragon (sometimes Arthur Pen Dragon), Lance and Lancelot, Moordryd and Mordred. There are some similar themes as well, and I thoroughly enjoy the storyine. I could do with some more episodes, though!

i only just realised this when i read that book for school some time ago and realised that 'uther pendragon' and 'lance/elot' and 'mordred' etc... it was interesting.
