Well, now that I've finally got the DVD, I noticed in the bonus feature "Just Like Family" the cast mentioned that Johnny and Kristy really didn't get along during season 1. I thought that was really interesting considering there's so many rumors that they're dating now.

shareIt could have been possible that Johnny & Kristy didn't get along, I don't think the cast would lie about that. And those "rumors" about them dating, are true. Johnny's friend Donovan has a myspace page and he's got a few pics of Johnny & Kristy. One particular pic though, Johnny is holding a glass of wine and kristy is behind him with her arms around him and kissing his head and under the picture it says "Johnny and his girl Kristy". That pic is still on there...so yeah, it's not a rumor.
