My little sister watches this show alot... doesn't it reseble a modern day Lord of The Flies...

Maybe a disneyfied happy version of the novel, if it were based on the novel they'd all be boys and two would be dead.

In a way yes,but no one died and things weren't as chaotic.But yeah I would say it resembles it in a small way.
