The letter in S2E2 Groundbreaking

I've just got Season 2 on DVD, but the first disk is damaged.
The only bit it skips out is when they find the letter in the box, then it skips to them putting Melissa holding the letter and Jackson says something about "I'm going to tell them myself"

Could anyone tell me what the letter said?
