Possibly the best use of a song in a film ever?

OK, so the track isn't that great, but the scene where Giorgia goes back to Andrea's for the first time: best use of Ultravox's 'Vienna' EVER! I laughed so much I nearly fell off my seat...

if rhinos wore sombreros...

Gabrielle Salvatores is definitely THE director with the best taste in music. My vote for best use of a song in a film ever goes to Denti (2000) where Salvatores begins the film with Deep Purple's "Sweet Child in Time"... the song reaches its maddening climax as the kid busts his teeth out on the rocks. Absolutely amazing.

Its rare to find a gifted director who has such a great grasp of music as well as visuals. Tom Tykwer is another director whose music is always primo (I heard he often writes, records & mixes it himself, like in Run Lola Run), although I don't care for techno as much as Salvatores' classic rock style. I would love to raid his record collection.

PS Can someone tell me the name/artist of the song that plays at the end as the credits are rolling? I WANT THAT SONG!!!

holy crap I just learned that the song is "Impressioni di settembre" and the singer is Angela Baraldi herself (Giorgia). I'm speechless.
