Very good film

Just saw it. I understand some Spanish because of my grandfather but very little. I watched with subtitles and really enjoyed this film. I'm a fan of Spanish cinema and have watched many movies over the years. Fernando Guillen was very good in this movie. I'm aware he is a respected actor in his native España and because I enjoy historical dramas I enjoye any that are of interest in España.
I am English but very proud of the spanish history and movies my grandfather introduced me to as a boy.
My grandfather was a Guillen too so it is my mother's maiden name, although my father's side is Irish.
This film was really emotionally wrought and such strong performances.
