They must be sponsors. The product placement in Krrish was painfully obvious, kind of like what they spoofed in Mike Meyers' Wayne's World. Obvious ads were Bournvita, Tide, Lays potato crisps (How did the women stay so slim when this was the only food we saw them eating?), and Singapore tourism slogans. Did I miss any?
