Is Tony Scott a God?

Mixing experimental cinema and big budget action movies, Scott has said "screw you" to "art film" fans everywhere and I'm enjoying every minute of it. Who knew he could create such a perfect hybrid?

In any case, Agent Orange is an early experimental film for Scott. He didn't combine the action cinema with this film as he did with Beat the Devil, but the film is visually stunning none the less. Does it need some Vietnam explosions and Agent Orange? Yes. But Man on Fire and Domino are more than enough.

Bless you, Tony Scott. I pledge myself to your holy order for you are truly the Savior and the Messiah.

Yes he is.
I completey agree. Without Tony Scott, movies would be going in the same boring direction as they always have done.
He is re-inventing. He is a genius.

not a god, but a damn entertaining film maker

Totally ahead of his time.
Mark my words: ten years from now, ALL action movies are going to look/sound EXACTLY like Domino, Beat the Devil, and Agent Orange.

To see some of Tony and Ridley Scott's commercials from around the world (as well as a bunch of other director's reels and commercials) go to:
