I gave it a shot for zooey...I couldn't finish it...fast forwarded thought the last half hour...usually only do that for porn ;) It sucked.
I, too, only watched this film because of Zooey. And unfortunately, her part isn't large enough to make me want to watch the movie again.
I didn't really care for the movie, but I'd hardly call it boring. There were parts of it that I liked. Zooey, of course, for the few minutes that she was on-screen. I'm kind of a fan of Michael Rappaport, and I enjoyed his portrayal of Officer Putney.
This was the first time I'd seen Paul Schneider in anything, and I liked him as Lagrand, even if he did seem kind of half-retarded. I'm
really looking forward to seeing both him and Zooey in All the Real Girls, whenever I have time to pick up the dvd.
As for Aaron Stanford: normally I like him. He was ok in X-Men, I liked him
a lot in The Hills Have Eyes, and I also liked him in another indie film called Flakes (which just so happened to star Zooey as his love interest). But I really hated his character in this movie. Just a horrible character.
I managed to watch the entire movie without fast forwarding through anything, although I did have to pause it two or three times and take a break from it. Overall, I'd give it a 4.5/10. I didn't hate it, but it's not something I'll ever want to watch again.
