You know the term “Oscar-bait”? Well, THE FOG 2005 is a "Razzie-bait": A silly premise (sorry, original version, but it’s true), a boring story, dull characters (even more than in the 1st one), bad acting all around (including small roles (specially the actress playing STEVIE's mom)), a confusing ending and an atmosphere that's only suspenseful when the script says "Something scary will happen now" and therefore not suspenseful at all. There are also some unintentionally funny moments (like when ELIZABETH is being yelled at by the priest, and when she’s kissed by the ghost).
