I didn't get the ending

The main character died in a car accident when a truck lost
control. As the fortune teller said, no more roads, no more tomorrows.
You can't change your destiny if it's written that you have to go.
That was the point of the movie, it's how I understood it ;)
Yep that was it. Ironically he dies in a car crash after miraculously surviving his encounter with his crazy friend. In trying to avoid his fate he helped cause it. He chose to be there.
