Hotel keeper voice familiarity with Powers Boothe

I have been playing this game for a bit and I swear the innsmouth hotel keeper's voice was acted by Powers Boothe, but it seems not (according to IMDb). It sounded very same. Or am I just tripping?

I kept going, "He sounds familiar but I can't figure out who" each moment I saw him.

But yeah, it doesn't seem to be anyone I know according to IMDb.

It sounded A LOT like Powers Boothe. I'm with you 100% on this. Who knows, maybe Cy Tolliver (the hotel keeper from Deadwood) was related to Gillman through fish blood! Hahaha.

Either Powers Boothe did it and was uncredited for this exact reason (Cause confusion), or they had someone just normally speak and they digitally altered it. Only Boothe can sound this badass.

reply

Agreed. Boothe is a badass *beep*

Let's put it this way...

Finding out if it's Powers Boothe is the reason I looked this game up on IMDB. This guy's voice is one-of-a-kind... or so I thought? :o

If the rest of the cast wasn't so no-name, I'd guess that he might have done a none-credited cameo. But with this cast? Doubt it...

reply

Well, the innkeeper's (Charlie Gilman) voice IS credited. He's voiced by John St. Jon (aka the voice of Duke Nukem).
