when did this movie hit the big screen? did they show it in the U.S?????

It's at the Seattle International Film Festival as we speak. So no, it's not "big screen" yet.

The release date in the US is 07/28/2006 - i don't think it's getting a wide release but will be out there in a fair few theatres!

I'm going to see an advanced screening of it tonight and I live in Dallas. We're usually in the second tier when it comes to indie release dates.

premiered in new york last friday at one theater. Premiered in LA last night; released into a couple theaters. Playing in DC for the next week in a small independent theater. You're going to have to look around to see where it's playing near you. Check under now playing here on IMDB, that's what I did.
