when this movie came out, was it a big deal that two real-life twins really kissed each other? like i understand they did it as characters who were rockstar brothers who kissed BUT in real life they are twins. as a real-life twin myself, gross! uhh i dont know if i could do that. i mean it was a sexualized kiss! ew.

i always wondered how characters who needed to kiss but were played by relatives w/ so many families out there who have multiple performers out there would be dealt with. hmm, guess they might really go for it...

well since the characters they were playing were conjoined, i think it add more intimacy to the relationship and more complexity. but since they were NOT in fact conjoined, then .... i guess everthing is fair in love, war and art ?!?!
i didn't have a problem with it! even though i get kind of sick whenever i see any actor kissing another actor, even if it wasn't same sex, i'm just not too cool with pda (public display of affection)

I know what you mean .
I would love to hear an interview with the brothers about how they dealt/felt about having to make out with each other , being somewhat incestuous and also both being male ( harder or easier ?) . I do not think I could do it either .

In what part of the movie did they kiss? maybe it was at the beginning of the film that i didnt watch

There was an interview with them and they were asked about the kiss. I was kinda like O_O when I saw it at first but in the movie it was explained that they just decided to do that on a whim, or Barry did, I think more for shock than anything else. It was one of those things that gets your attention definately, haha. But they said in the interview that they just did it and weren't that weirded out and that the production was so paced they didn't think much about it.

I don't see how there is any way anyone could not be weirded out when kissing their own brother, haha. Loved the way they were both so casual about it. Cool interview though. I really liked all of the questions asked.
