The subs in the trailer don't seem to be translating all of the dialog.

While sometimes it's not possible to do so, these sseem unusually curt, from what i could pick out of the French dialog.

Subtitles often miss the point in translating things:

Nathalie Baye had a large part as Joelle, the production secretary, in Turffautt's "Day for Night", and the newer subtitle version on the DVD of that film translates the script girl's line to her as "Hey, you changed your top!", rather than the original theatrical release's "Wrong continuity, girl," which is a *lot* funnier in context.

The first time i saw "Yojimbo" in a theatre, the scene that became the "apologise to the mule" bit in "Fistful of Dollars" and was the basis for Ben Kenobi's fightin the cantina, with Sanjuro taunting the cheap swords to get them to attack so he can show off, the subtitles said "Are you *sure* you ant me to kill you? It'll hurt, you know..."; when i watched it on DVD, it was changed to something not funny at all...
