Have to see the first one to understadn this?

yo all,

I was wondering if i had to watch Azumi 1 to get the story to this one. With other RK films (Down to Hell and Versus) you didn't need to watch the 1st one to really understand what was happening in the second one. Is this the case here?

Not really because they go back on two instances and tell you what happened. I do however think that there is a chance you might find this movie to be average, I did even more so after watching Azumi 1, which after the sequel now seems to have been far more superior and sufficient with action.

I was wondering the same. I really wanted to see Azumi but Blockbuster only had the 2nd part. Maybe the 1st was stolen.

I hope you don't because the first one was pretty bad other than some of the action.
