i thought it was live, but my friend was in the audience once and they filmed it at lunchtime
maybe it used to be live, because i think he used to say 'live at five'

Monday to Wednesday is live and Thursday-Friday is pre-recorded earlier in the week.

I suppose it's filmed as if it were live though. As in one straight run, so Bert still gets to be Windy Miller =]
