Clearly biased - only a right-winger would treat Falwell as sane

Jerry Falwell is treated like a normal person in this, and his claim (along with many fundamentalists) that 9/11 was caused by homosexuals and abotionists is brushed over, barely taking one second, yet he's shown as a sane person throughout the whole film.

If only they'd touched on the dark side of this film.

Yea, and it was really funny when he said that the gays and the lesbians were destroying the country, because he is so dumb that he doesn't even know that lesbians are gays. Or maybe he just can't read a dictionary :)

how should he have been treated?

should they have painted a moustache on his face, or made farting noises while he talked?

would that have been less biased?
