The shootout

My sister said that the shootout on CNN was real, and I believe it was, because I remember seeing the other shootout on COPS where nobody got shot at point blank range...but does anybody know any information about that one where the cops couldn't shoot the one guy? Like, relative time when it happened, even a year that it happened, cuz I wanna see if it's on Youtube... Thanks
