Biofilmography

Semih Kaplanoglu was born in 1963 in Izmir, Turkey. In 1984
he received a BA in Cinema and Television from the Faculty
of Fine Arts, Dokuz Eylül University, Izmir, Turkey. In 1987/88
he worked as a camera assistant for doc u men ta ry films.
Between 1994 and 1996 he wrote and directed 52 episodes
for the television series Sehnaz Tango. In 2001 he made his
first full length feature film Away From Home. MELEGIN
DÜSÜSÜ is his second feature length film.
