Australian Region 4 DVD Out in 2 Weeks

Just watched the new region 4 DVD tonight(september 7) . Beautiful movie, and the very best adaptation since the original 1943 version. DVD is transfered in glorious 2.40:1 aspect ratio and is wonderfully faithfull to the original book. All I want now is to see Adrian Johnston's beautiful score produced on CD. Even my German Shepard enjoyed watching this one, unlike that annoying americanized hollywood 1994 version. And Peter O'Toole is still a star! It is sometimes still great to be part of the british empire, and Charles Sturridge remains one of the most reliable directors around these days. Enjoy!.
