When Peter Dinklage's dog is killed I was in tears

reply

Oh my god! I rarely ever cry during movies but (spoiler) when that dog died I was in serious tears.

Last movies seen:
Night of the Living Dead (1968)=9/10
Fido=9/10

reply

Yup. By the end I was in tears.

When Toots is dying, I was holding it together quite well, but then when Lassie put her paw on Rowlie's leg to comfort him, I started bawling!
Also, when Lassie collapses in the snow and they all find her, I cried hysterically!

I've seen it a few times. I didn't cry every time, but damn close. Tears or not, helluva movie :-)

I cried at the end when they found Lasie in snow. It was so sad. And I was sad when the other dog died too :((

Say whatever you want! It's your opinion and it's Your Right! But respect theirs.

reply

Did not cry but only just seen this one 10 years after.
Was shown on Five the other week and was on my sky planner.
I liked Lassie and give it a 6 out of 10.
I must watch the 1994 one some time also the others.

Oh my, yes. My little girl and I just watched it for the first time today, and I was trying so hard to hold it together for her sake. She's not quite three and is extremely empathetic, yet doesn't quite get the reason for the upset, so she kept asking "Okay?! Okay?!" and I seriously couldn't speak for the lump in my throat.

reply

Yep. Cried like a little girl when Toots was killed. Humans I can cope with... animals dying destroys me.

Then at the end, when they carry her down the street, I was sobbing again. :/
