Spelling his name wrong AND no credit.Poor Bahrom(Al Ghazi)!

Me and my friend was talking about this the other day, with him saying"It doesn´t affect an actors perfomance.Who cares how he´s credited?"Not the performance but it has effect,of course! My point then, was Sean Bean.Despite being the main antagonist in both The Island,Don´t say a word and National Treasure, none of the movies posters have Beans name on it.The studio constantly made the choice to not try to make him a household name...How do you reach fame and better offers when the industry(don´t matter if I say Hollywood,Universal orthe studio. You get it.)decides the actors value? And look at his career now.Which of course leads to this....

Colonel Al Ghazi is the movies second most important character. That Barhom´s portrayal of him is beyond brilliant(Reading reviews here,I almost get the feeling Al Ghazi is turning into a somewhat classic character.Ok,I get that they can´t put his name on the poster,I believe it was his first american film.
But after the Title of the fim is seen, the names of the rest of the cast is presented. And to base these things COMPLETELY on fame is rediculous! Ok,so I guess I have to accept the fact that Danny Huston and Richard Jenkins, two known supporting actors ,who combined have about 3 minutes of screentime and a couple of scenes that in the end are irrelevant to the plot are crediteb before Bahrom...it´s not fair but that´s Hollywood for you. No,the point is tnat when his name appears on the big screen it looks like this
ASHRAF BAHROUM
ALI SULEYMAN

WHAT?? Not giving him OR the character any credit? You´ve all seen movies, the names that aren´t credited by themself but are displayed in groups so to speak, usually are ones who have a scene or two, little dialogue.Holy S---!I noticed this now, while watching the opening credits...THEY EVEN GOT HIS NAME WRONG!!!And the fact that here on IMDB,his name is BAHROM and in the movie BARHOUM... haahaha!! That was would be the icing on the cake, man. In a movie made by christians where he portrays a righteous, brave muslim ,they didn´t even get his name right(OR maybe they did and IMDB is wrong?Anybody knows?)OR respect him as an actor.I´m not religious,I just find it very ironic.

They of course create the opening credi after the movie is shot and done. Not even after seeing his brilliant acting did they care...conspiracy?He was so good, that no one walking out of the theatre should have an idea of his name(Joke,im kidding)? But Hollywood single out some to be stars like it´s a god damn lottery!!You think what I just said made no sense?Fine, why not...but imagine if the poster had looked like this....

JAMIE FOXX CHRIS COOPER JENNIFER GARNER ASHRAF BAHROUM JASON BATEMAN
T H E K I N G D O M
I have NO DOUBT in my mind that this guy would be a star, getting great supporting roles.Come on,A good performance in Agora and a nonsenserole in Clash of the Titans is basically what we have seen...No,it was direspectful and ignorant to display his name like that.Details like this actually do break or make careers....thanx 4 reading. If you feel the urge to say something badass or aggressive ....fight it.

PS: Orlando Bloom and Paul Walker are superstars and Ashraf is very far from that.Food for thought...

I agree about his credit. I seem to recall other films where relative unknowns have played a large role and received credit higher up. This was crass on the part of Universal.
I noticed that even though the official trailer is anchored & punctuated by Bahroum's Al Ghazi character and his dialogue, you don't see his name in the trailer. Pathetic. I'm sure Peter Berg wanted it, but Universal thought Danny Huston was better known (huh?).
Your last line made me laugh.
