The missing $20 million

I finally sat down and saw "Today You Die." Can anybody tell me what happened to the $20 million. One minute Seagal drops off the guard in the back of the vehicle and the next minute we see a railroad car and then we see Seagal being picked up by the cops. Did he take the money and transfer it to Switzerland? How did it get there? Did the wife transfer it? I could never figure this bit out. Can somebody help me to see straight?
