Lead actress horribly miscast!
The main problem I had with this film was Lauren Holly. The character she was playing was supposed to be a junior senator whose media campaign was based solely on issues of terrorism. Besides this fact she was a mother to a college age daughter and wife of a man who looked like he was ready to croak at the same time. In reality Holly doesn't look a day over 35 than the 42 year old woman she really is. There were other aspects that were not played out such as what the husband did for a living. Did he just lounge around at home getting wasted on booze.
And what was the deal with everyone being connected to this nutcase terrorist such as the senators secret boyfriend, the daughter, the hotel doorman who flagged for the cab, and the senators brother in law. This film was all over the road and didn't seem to get better at the end when the viewer was left with the impression that the whole 90 minutes was just a college writing assignment and not a reality based event. Overall the film left out more gaps and questions for the viewer to ponder rather than deal with them at the end. I would skip this one and rent a copy of Arlington Road.
