Did anyone else thought 'Bloodsuckers' was a really good for a B-movie?

Did anyone else thought "Bloodsuckers" was really good for a B-movie?

my answer:
I thought it was a great movie. I have always liked sci-fi and horror(vampires) movies and this "Bloodsuckers" movie was no exception.
I watched the movie when it come on at 9pm(pst) saturday night on the Sci-fi channel and I am also going to Tivo it when it repeats at 1am(pst) sunday morning on the Sci-fi channel. I can't wait until it is released(hopefully) on dvd but the recording of it on my Tivo will hold me over until then.
I really hope that there will be a sequel to this great movie.
On a scale of 1-10, I will give this "Bloodsuckers" movie a 8.5/9!

Yeah it was pretty enjoyable.
Surprisingly so I might add.
I was basically a weird b-movie blend of
Firefly and BuffyTVS, and most remarkably it sorta worked.

It was alright. The acting was a little weak in some scenes,but it was okay. I would give it a 5 out of 10.

It was better than your typical low-budget sci-fi movie. The premise was interesting and there were some cool action bits, as well as some interesting character interactions. On the other hand, I think the vampire sex thing was uninteresting, especially the way they used it to end the movie, but then again ending a movie well is probably the hardest part of doing a movie. Overall I liked the movie and I will probably be keeping it on my Tivo to watch in the future, or would buy it on DVD.

It was the best made for Sci-fi movie I've seen them show. I'd buy the DVD.

Well, it was pretty decent for a Scifi Channel flick. Which is to say, not cringeworthy. Felt much more like a pilot for a TV series than a movie though.

No, not at all. It was horrible. There was nothing of Btvs in it, other than vampires. I would suggest everyone avoid this.

And I totally got the Firefly smashed with BtVS vibe.

Dude that movie was just an awful nasty imbred spawn of the following movies:

Alien
Aliens
Pitch Black
Star Wars
Varsity Blues
Demolition Man
Star Trek
Jason Goes to Hell
Spaceballs

Im just gonna stop now. I only watched the last hour of it last night on Sci-Fi, and while I admit I couldnt turn it off, it was only cuz I had such a good time tooling on it. Ironsides has hit a new low. The script sounded like a modified mad-libs with a camera crew. The soundtrack was the most out of place s#!t and way to loud. The cuts in the fight scenes were so amazingly bad they had to be by choice. Atleast the movie put to rest my fears that both J-Crew and the Gap would be non existent in the future. Now maybe this is what you need for a good B movie where the worse it is the better, in which case you have found the new king. Move over C.H.U.D. its "Bloodsuckers" turn to shine

I liked it. It had some nice pop culture references and cool music. Sorta reminded me of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the series that is).

Btw, if anyone knows the name of the song that is playing in the background during Damien's "sex" scene/memory...please let us know. There are several people on this board that have already posted about it and none of us are having any luck searching the web.

Bloodsuckers was one of the best Sci-Fi movies I have ever seen!! If you hated it, then screw you cause I'll still like it. Can't wait until it comes out on DVD!
