This movie is way underrated.

This comedy imo is on the same level as 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Step Brothers, etc. But for whatever reason kind of takes a back seat to all of those.

Also Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott had amazing chemistry, they should work together again. But probably wont happen since SWC's movies bomb at the box office where as Paul Rudd is now apart of the Marvel movies so he'll probably never do a film like this again.

never take life so seriously... no one gets out alive anyway

Its a very cool movie.

Sadly it looks like the Blu-Ray isn't that common, but found it.
I just ordered the unrated Blu-Ray.

Definitely, it never found an audience in theatre or after theatre which is a real shame.

Wasnt pushed in the theatre, I never really knew anything about it except "new comedy bla bla" and after that I never heard anything about it until a Podcast called filmspotting (who are pretty good Chicago film critics, one of the best podcasts out there) directed me to it as one of the best comedies of the last 10 years.

I was thinking why is Sean W. Scott not in more movies because he is always more than good, maybe because of typecast but also Paul Rudd is a consistent force in comedy. Probably the best comedy performers of the last ten years also in his consistency of performances.

Very undervalued comedy actor.

Yah. Well there's a variety of reasons with Sean William Scott.

#1 - he's typecast as the goofy/party guy. Most of his films have this quality in his characters.

#2 - films don't do well with critics. He's been in quite a few duds Blockbuster wise. He also isn't received by audiences that much.

#3 - he's not a real vocal person and is pretty conservative for Hollywood standards. Some actors market themselves like crazy or constantly appear at events, but he doesn't.

#4 - I heard he had some personal life issues and kind of went dormant for a little bit.

I think he's a good actor, but he needs to land a more serious role. But it's hard because of the above issues, ESPECIALLY #2. Hard to find work when your prior movies (whether it's your fault or not) are flopping.
