What is up with ABC Family...

... their retarded movie titles? Why are they calling this "Best Man, Worst Friend"? What's wrong with "The Best Man"? A few months ago they made a movie called "Hello Sister, Goodbye Life". Do I see a pattern emerging? That movie was based on a book called "Same As It Never Was", a perfectly good title if you ask me. What do they think they're accomplishing by changing the titles? It seems like they're trying their best to describe the plot of the movie within the title when that's completely unnecessary and very annoying. The new titles suck. Does anyone else wish they'd just leave well enough alone?

Also, why is ABC Family advertising this movie as a New Original ABC Family Movie? From what I can tell, this movie existed before ABC Family decided to air it this month.

Channels do it all the time. ABC obviously bought the US rights to this movie, and they can call it 'Corky gets a hand job' if they want. I think this movie would of been better before ABC gots its hands on it, but its still pretty decent.

Once they have the rights, I guess they can do whatever they want, but I don't understand why. The Best Man had more appeal than Best Man Worst Friend. Such a stupid title. I'm surprised they didn't change While You Were Sleeping (which was just on) to Stranger Coma, Pretend Fiance.

Since you know about this stuff though, are they allowed to claim it as a New Original ABC Family film? That seems wrong to me.

Now that I've seen the movie, I feel even more equipped to say this title is ridiculous. It's not even accurate. Olly was a good friend to the groom. He went out of his way to keep the couple together, sacrificing his own feelings, until he found out the groom had cheated.

After watching it, I thought this movie had some funny parts. It was a new twist that the original best friend helped sabotage the new best friend's relationship. I also really enjoyed the music. It fit well. Other than thought, it wasn't anything groundbreaking or especially memorable. I hope to see Stuart Townsend and the rest of the cast in bigger movies soon. :)
