but nothing special except for Amy Smart

That's what I gave it. Amy Smart is always very appealing, and she's no different here. But there wasn't much real comedy and I really didn't care if the main guy got her or not.
Why is this movie R? No sex, no nudity. Some talk of sex, at most. This seems like it could just be a regular PG movie. Pretty bland in all respects.
