The characters were lifeless, the situations were dull and lifted from countless other movies, the humor was anemic, nobody in it spoke or acted like a real person, the plot wanders around aimlessly and the dialog is idiotic.

Agreed. The comedy was cringe-worthy at times, Seth Green's accent was awful, and Amy Smart and Stuart Townsend had no chemistry. It was predictable in very way, including the "twist" ending.
Clearly it was inspired by "Four Weddings and a Funeral" and countless others. Twice cribbing the scene from 'The Graduate' was lame and obvious.
Terrible film. Not worth the rental cost.
And when did Seth Green become so unattractive?
I agreed. Amy Smart had NO chemistry with her original fiancé guy so why would anyone care if they broke up? And it wasnt like her chemistry with Olly was any better. They went to the store and he was clumsy. That's it.
