shareI think it's more about revenge then rebellion. When you have a chance, there is a book called The Count Of Monte Cristo, now thats a great revenge adventure.

shareWhen she said Rebelde, she meant the title of another soap opera that is called "Rebelde". Not the actual meaning of the world rebelde. And I actually do not think this soap La Madrastra sucks, because at least it is not about some poor beautiful peasant girl who becomes rich by marying the rich boy. Its a bit different from the ones we have seen lateley.

shareAnd look at who the lead charachter is, she is a middle aged woman with maturity, and not so much stupidity and naiveness as the usual prototype of say Thalia or Arambula's novelas. The fact that Mujer de Madera was a little different in the sense that it talked about environmental awareness also made me like the novela, although after the first half it stunk big time.
